It’s almost the big day and the bride-to-be is probably pulling out a few hairs. From last minute arrangements to emotional roller coaster rides, she’s got more than enough to handle. Whether you’re the maid of honor, a bridesmaid, or a friend, lend her a helping hand and she’ll be forever grateful. Here’s how:

1) Offer to help with any last minute details.

She may have a few invites to send out, some d.i.y. flower arrangements to make, or one last caterer to check up on. Ask if you can help with anything big or small that she may not have time for or would just like help with. Propose that you get a few bridesmaids together for larger projects to get tasks done faster. Besides, the more the merrier!

2) Give her some zen.

She may be more than a bit frazzled and in need of some R&R. Treat her to a spa day and get massages, mud masks and manicures. You don’t have to go all out though. Even a shopping trip, lunch, or coffee can be the much needed relaxation she’s looking for.

3) Handle the questions.

Offer to handle phone calls during the planning process. If you know the ins and outs of what’s going on, ask her to give everyone your number so that if they have questions they can call you. You might also consider making phone calls for her, whether it’s to set up the DJ, order the cake or introduce yourself to wedding guests so they know who to bring their questions to.

4) Help her make a honeymoon list.

No one likes forgetting to pack something for a trip. Grab a slice of her time and go over everything she might need for the honeymoon. Then create a packing list for her to use. She might even want you to stick around and help her pack!

5) Get moving.

One of the best ways to relieve stress is to get the body in motion. Help the bride-to-be get some physical and mental peace by taking her to a dance class, yoga session or just a walk around the block a few nights out of the week. It’s good for the mind and the body!
